Good News for Windsor - Liberals Losing their grip

"You may have noticed my anger with the Liberal Party in Windsor. I will explain.

In common with most Conservatives, I feel a connection with the hundreds of people I have spoken with who voted Liberal last time round. We all want a more caring society in which our children are educated, our streets are safe, our health service works and our environment is better protected.

But Liberal Party makes me angry because they pretend to care, but damage people with waste and inactivity once elected.

They raised council tax by 8.9% when they spoke of 1.5%. They have not solved the parking problems in central Windsor - one of the reasons for their election – but have increased charges well beyond inflation.

Perhaps that’s why the former Liberal mayor of Eastbourne joined the Conservatives, we saw a 32.7% swing from the Liberals in the recent Folkestone East election, in addition to Allerdale, Berwick and Shropshire among others.

Conservative policies put people first. We must communicate that message better.

It is courageous to break with former perceptions. So my heartfelt thanks to the many people moving on to support Conservative policies.

I am delighted the Liberal Party is losing its grip on the minds of good people. This is good news for Windsor."
